How I Help

The starting place for engaging in some therapeutic work will be different for everybody.

My approach can offer safe and effective therapy for anyone who feels they are struggling with any aspect of their mental health.

This may include;
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Trauma
• Mood disorders
• Eating disorders
• Addiction
• Self-harming behaviour

But often our challenges and struggles are not as clearly defined as those that fit within a specific diagnosis or disorder.

You might be going through a period of loss or upheaval, struggling with physical illness and/or chronic conditions, struggling to find your true identity, struggling with low self-confidence or self-esteem or generally feeling ‘stuck’ and not at your best and wanting to understand why.

You might be going through a period of loss or upheaval, struggling with physical illness and/or chronic conditions, struggling to find your true identity, struggling with low self-confidence or self-esteem or generally feeling ‘stuck’ and not at your best and wanting to understand why.

So however you define what draws you towards therapy, it can provide;

  • Relief from symptoms of illness or ‘dis-ease’ in both mind and body
  • An opportunity to build a more positive relationship with any illness, mental or physical, leading to an increased sense of health and wellbeing.
  • An opportunity to understand and change patterns of behaving, thinking, working and relating to those which better serve you and your wellbeing
  • Increased self-esteem
  • Increased self-confidence
  • A more grounded and understood sense of your identity, who you are and what you want from your life
  • Increased resources in order to achieve your goals and ambitions- personally, relationally and professionally.
