Welcome to Helen Webster- Embodied Therapy.
If you are here then you have already taken an important step towards exploring how you can make a change for the better in your life.
About Me
I have worked to provide embodied therapy spaces to both individuals and groups within mental health settings for over ten years.
During which time I also gained my formal Psychotherapy training and in 2011 qualified with an MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from Roehampton University.
Over this time I have worked in a combination of NHS, private and charity settings where I have worked with individuals with a range of different mental health challenges including Eating Disorders, Addictions, Personality Disorders, Psychosis, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Dementia, Neuro-psychiatry and ACUTE mental health. And have worked in both adult and CAMHS services.
Sometimes the work of a therapist is meeting someone at a point of crisis in their lives. Working with them to emerge from a period of darkness into one where health and wellbeing become not just possible, but reality again.
Sometimes the work is meeting someone at a point where they feel stuck, or where they are not thriving or fulfilling the potential they know they could.
Either way I commit to meeting you wherever you are, and working with you to find your own process of discovery, expression, understanding and change.
